Save the Rain and In Her Shoes.
In Sub-Saharan Africa, women walk an average of 20,000 steps a day carrying buckets of water for her family's survival. Just 5 gallons of water weighs 40lbs, yet she presses on. The water she carries is often contaminated with bacteria and disease because this is the only water available to her. The water makes her babies sick, she stays up all night to tend to them, as they wake and head to school, she again leaves to collect water so they may survive. With love in her heart, she presses on.
But what if she didn't have to?
Join me in supporting Save the Rain's IN HER SHOES Women's Water Initiative, where every dollar I raise will go towards providing women and children in need life-long access to clean water the education to sustain their own food security.
Together, we can make sure she and her children walk a better path in life, changing the world one step at a time.
Thank you for your generous donation.
We are deeply grateful you have decided to take the journey with us to improve the lives of those effected by the global water crisis. Your donation will provide the opportunity for villagers in rural Africa to be trained in the art of effectively harvesting the rain, build permaculture gardens, and re-irrigate their lands for long term sustainability. Together we will alleviate the pain of the global water crisis for many, and for that we can’t thank you enough.
Please consider sharing my fundraiser with your friends, only together can make great change!
